TOM FREY (Director, Little Big Man) is thrilled to be both acting in and directing  A Closer Walk… , which is the second property Tom is affiliated with through Marquis Entertainment in Toronto. Tom has had a long association with another popular Marquis property, 2 Pianos/ 4 Hands, which began over ten years ago. He first played the role of Richard on the American National Tour, subsequently performing the role over 200 times all over the United States and Canada in such venues as the Buffalo Studio Theatre , Geva Theatre, the Ordway Theatre, 1000 Islands Playhouse (ON), and others.  He then switched to the role of Ted and tried that for another nearly 300 performances in venues including the Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, Hartford Stage ( CT Critics Choice Award for Best Road Show), Laguna Playhouse, Dallas Theatre Center, the Globe Theatre (Regina, SK), Merrimac Repertory, and the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival.  He now directs the show throughout the United States, including productions at the Cape Playhouse, the Colony Theatre, Penguin Rep, MusicalFare, and the Little Theatre on the Square.  As an actor, Tom has been seen in multiple roles in Dirty Blonde at the Cleveland Playhouse and Pittsburgh Public Theatre; Souvenir, with Semina DeLaurentis at 7 Angels Theatre; Woman In Black and Free Man of  Color at the Penguin Rep.; Evelyn Oakleigh in Anything Goes at the Skylight Opera Theatre; Billy Bishop in Billy Bishop Goes To War and Fred in A Christmas Carol at Geva Theatre,  and Guildenstern in Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead at the Jackson Hole Theatre Co. Tom has Music Directed Smokey Joe’s Café and Beehive at the Cape Playhouse, as well as a second production of  Beehive at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. He studied piano at Western Michigan University and graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts Professional Actor Training Program.  BCB.
